Hartsell Funeral Homes Obituary

Dennis Layne Fritchman, 69 years of age, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center - Main in Charlotte with his wife and son by his side.

Dennis was born May 28, 1946 to the late Harry and Helen Fritchman (Karnes). He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karen; his brother and sister-in-law, Robin and Kathy, his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew Fritchman and Kelly Sue Deconnick; and his grandchildren, Henry Leo and Tallulah Louise.

Dennis enjoyed golf, cowboy movies, judge shows, antique shopping, his grandkids' antics and a cold Rolling Rock. His beloved pet tiger Alphonso has been set free outside of the city limits.

An informal gathering of friends will be held at the residence, Thursday evening, September 10, 2015 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
