We miss you Denny. A great guy ! Always friendly

Thinking about Denny every time I go to Stewart´s on Osborne Road. Umpire synonymous with Denny Galka!! We miss you

Denny was one of the kindness people I knew. Great sense of humor. I´ve know him since Colonie Little League, Colonie Babe Ruth and all the softball leagues. He was a fixture at Stewart´s . He was the mayor. He was loved and admired. I miss seeing him. Still here him say "OBE"!! Miss you Denny.

To all of Denny’s family:

I am so saddened to hear of Denny’s passing. He was one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. I’m grateful to have known him, and especially to have called him my friend.

A former neighbor and classmate. Denny was always so nice to everyone and a pleasure to be around. Will be missed

So very sorry to hear about your loss. Many memories of our West Albany LL days include your Dad. We just sat with him this summer @ Stewarts & had a nice talk. thinking of you all.

My sincere condolences to the Galka family. I have many happy memories of Denny during his days as an umpire and of course all the years as a member and Past Exalted Ruler at Albany 49. May he rest in peace.

Denny coached my 15 year old all star team in 1978. He was a baseball encyclopedia and loved to teach us. I haven’t seen him in many years but he always carried a smile. Hugs to the family.
