Mr. Garrity was my teacher-for a one semester class on Urban Studies-when I attended Redmond High School. He made the class interesting. As well, it was very informative.

I was Mr Garrity's student at Redmond High School and later a teacher at Interlake High School where he taught history. He was dedicated and worked hard to give his students the best. They often referred to what they learned in his classes and their respect for him. They knew he lived the ideals he taught. I was blessed to work with Dennis for a number of years at Interlake High School. Dennis and Jeannie became friends and we shared some outstanding restaurants together. Dennis was always professional in his demeanor and a positive addition to our teaching staff. He will be missed and our thoughts go out to Jeannie. Don and Bobbie Barnhart
