DENNIS HANNAFEY

I was part of Dennis’ lunch buddy group in our little corner of Eamon Doran’s. I was a Clerk in Supreme (retired six years) and whenever he came in was a special treat for me, always imparting his wisdom and sense of humor. I especially enjoyed our political discussions as it was hard to speak to anyone at all of like mind, and today most of all. I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Hannafey he was my mentor when he was in house for a royal insurance and had the patience to teach me and lead me in the path of the legal field that I stayed in for almost 30 years . He was always kind and patient my condolences to his family as he was a very gentle kind soul .

Just heard the sad news. Sending our prayers to Mrs. Hannafey, Dennis, James, John, Mark and family. We have very happy memories of the times we spent with all of you on Thomas Street.

Dennis and I were adversaries in many cases over the years but it was what we did and he was a tough but to me it was never personal it was professional. He will be in my prayers as will his family.
