Not sure what to say?

Uncle Dennis, you are still remembered and loved. However, I know you are with Uncle Mike and Dad in heaven singing "Irish Songs" and playing golf. I love you. Julie Hayes

I worked with Dennis as a window cleaner or as we referred to ourselves,
optical engineer, for the Cleveland Schools during the summer of 1965. Until that time, I only knew Dennis as the youngest and quietest of the Hayes boys. What a delightful surprise to find that he was equally opiniated, humorous, and as engaging as his brothers. We had a great summer working together as a two man crew. I lost track of him after that summer and I did not know that he went to Viet Nam and was...

Dennis was a wonderful guy. Cheerful, compassionate and kind.

I knew Dennis for only a short time, but I had the pleasure of working with him at Long & Foster. He was a really great guy! I will miss working with him to create great things! My sympathies to the families who miss him.

Take All of Me

Deno called me one day and asked my opinion as to how much money he should take out of his savings for his first trip to Puerto Vallarta? My reply was “take all of it“. That is what Deno did with life!
Deno is my best friend.

Dennis was a great guy and when I was living in New York working for Rolling Stone Magazine, Dennis stopped over on his way to Paris. What a surprise when I returned from work to find Dennis sitting on my couch saying that Paris just wasn't his thing so he was returning to the west coast. He never knew who sat on that couch: John Belushi, Robert Duvall, Hunter Thompson to name a few. Dennis was a lot of fun and will be missed by all who knew him. I especially liked laughing with him!

Dennis was a great guy

He has been on my mind and we will all miss him.
How fast the end of this short life comes.

With a warm but sad smile.

Dennis and I were in the travel business together in Chicago and became friends instantly. Who wouldn't love his vivacious nature and boyish charm. He loved life to the fullest and energized everyone around him. What a devastating loss to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed. I'll bet he's partying hard with all the other souls in heaven right now though. God bless him.
