I carry many fond memories of Mr.Dennis, Mrs. Evelyn, Marcy and each of the children. You exemplify what love is and what it means to be a "family". I was blessed to become a small part of this family, and it has made a lasting change in my life.

Steve and Jill,
Your Grandfather was My Daddy's cousin but, he meant far more than that to him. Daddy lost his father at the age of 13. Your Grandfather was the man that would become the father figure that he needed. I have heard nothing but fond memories spoken of your Grandfather over the years. Our fathers grew up together sleepovers, school, playing sports and etc. So, knowing first-hand what "Hebert Boys" can get themselves into...
I am sure some of the "fatherly" duties had to used :)
I am so sorry for your loss. May God Bless You and Your Family and Bring Peace and Comfort during this time of Sorrow.

Representative Hebert was a very strong supporter for better funding for "his university" (as he called Southeastern)when he sat on the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee and the Joint Budget Committee. He was a good public servant. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Tricia and family, Sending my deepest sympathy on the loss of Mr. Dennis. He was an amazing man who lived such a full life. The love he had for his family was obvious, and he was loved by so many as he touched the lives of countless others. I feel so honored to have had the privilege to meet and know him. You and the family are in and will remain in my thoughts and prayers. He will live on in every cherished memory that you have of him in your heart. Praying that you find the strength to get through this difficult. Find comfort in the fact he is in heaven and no longer suffering. You have an angel watching over you always. Again, I am so sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to the entire family and all that knew him. RIP, Mr. Dennis.

May these words find you at peace in the arms of your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Mr. Dennis you have been a part of my life beginning in 1964 in Ponchatoula. It has been my pleasure to see the love that you and Ms. Ruth had for each other and you telling me of the fun you and Ruth had rabbit hunting.

Paulette, Marcia, Bubba,Carol, Andy, Nan and Patricia, (and all of your children)
My heart aches for you. I know how hard this is for each of you. Your dad treasured each and every one of his seven children and all of his grandchildren. Growing up with you I was able to witness first hand the bond he shared with you. May God wrap his arms around you and give you strength to get through the grieving process. I am sure your mom and Brit were so happy to welcome him home. Hopefully knowing they were there will give you some peace. God bless!! I am proud to be your cousin! Love all of you!
