Dennis "Craig" Helms

HELMS, "Craig" Dennis - of Mt. Morris, age 54, A simple southern man went to be with his god on Monday, April 18, 2005 at home. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Friday, April 22, 2005 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Mike Durbin officiating. Burial in Thetford Township Cemetery with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Visitation 2-8PM Wednesday, 11AM-8PM Thursday and 11AM Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Craig was employed by D & V Collision and was a local musician for over 30 years. He enjoyed country music and gardening with his tractor, but most of all he loved his family. Left to carry on his legacy are his wife, and best friend, for 34 years Pam; daughters, Tonya (Jeff), Dana (Eddie), son, Donnie (Angie); grandchildren, Cody, Shaina, Delana, Dyllan, Justin and Jordan; brothers, Keith (Sue), Kenny (Lori), Farrell (Debbie) and Gregory (Barb); sister, Rhea (Jim); mother, Eunice; father-in-law, Don Maples; many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to family and friends in helping with his care. He would tell us, he was loved by "everbody".
