Dennis and I were classmates at Marquette University although we never had a conversation. We met again at The Flint Journal where we both worked. Our friendship blossomed from there. My wife Mary and I shared many happy experiences with Ol' Den, as he sometimes referred to himself, and Bea, he devoted wife. I am so sorry to learn of Dennis's death. My condolences to the family. I know he was increasingly frail in recent weeks. We would occasionally chat at St. Michael's.

Single Memorial Tree

Dennis was a wonderful man and friend. I enjoyed working with Dennis at the Maxwell Museum in Albuquerque. He was so knowledgeable on the history of the area and his Sci-Fi stories were great reads. I will miss him!

Dennis was one of the most interesting people I have ever known. He accomplished so much during his life, and he taught me a great deal. I will always remember him and am grateful he was part of my life.

I had the pleasure of taking a classes from Dennis at UNM he was an a great professor! His life experiences added so much and he was a great writer. Sending comforting thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Heidi
