HERRON, Dennis Wayne – Of Flint, age 65, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 30, 2017.

Dennis lived and worked in Flint, Michigan all his life.

Dennis graduated from Southwestern High School in Flint, in 1969 and was a Genesee County Special Deputy Process Server for over 30 years.

Denny was one of 13 brothers and sisters and had a love of life that was reflective in his dedication to his family and friends.

Denny is survived by his son, Ryan Keith Herron;

daughter, Courtney Jade (Allen) Baxter;

his grandchildren, Destiny Lorraine and Keegan Jax Herron and Londyn Lee Baxter;

sisters, Patty, Florence and Margaret and brother, Joe.

He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick; mother, Bernice; numerous brothers, sisters and extended family members.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

I am just reading this in Mar 2018. I worked for Dennis as a process server probably in 1985-1987 timeframe. He was my first real boss and what a great guy he was. He was kind, decent, tough, fair - and interesting to talk too. He made a tremendous impression on me as a person who knew how to treat those around him, as family. I know how much he is missed by tso many who knew him. Rest In Peace my friend Dennis. You are never forgotten.
