Not sure what to say?

Dear Jeanine and family
Jackie and I want to extend our condolences at your loss of Dennis. We know this loss will be a large hole in the hearts of all in your family. We would have been at the funeral but on January the 11th, I was operated on for a knee replacement. We hope to be in touch with you soon.

I didn't realize when I was 14 years old that the man I saw driving past my school bus stop each morning - looking quite serious and every bit the officer - would one day be my father-in-law and the only father I would ever know and love. I will miss our telephone calls and waking him up from his naps in his big, comfortable white recliner. He will miss my tacos!

Dennis was my only brother in law, had there been another, he would have lowered the average, Dennis was 100%. I grew up feeling it was my responsibility to look after my sister and I took this job seriously. When Dennis came on the scene, I felt threatened, and a bit jealous of him. After a while, I juist gave it up as I realized he was the right guy for Jeannine. He and I became good friends. He gave Jeannine a great life and left her with a wonderful family.
I am grateful...

Dear Jeanine and Eleanor,
My dad and I are both thinking of you during this difficult time. It is always hard to lose someone that we love.

Jeannine,
Dennis was a fine gentleman and a great boss while I worked for him at USAA.
We all will miss him.
Linda Dupuy

Jeannine,

Selma and I were saddened to read that Dennis had passed away and we offer our condolence and prayers to you and the Hickey family. Dennis and I established a bond of friendship at USAA that continued in the years after our retirement from USAA. We fondly recall the many social activities we attended together. Dennis had a great sense of humor, compassion for others, and the ability to make others very comfortable when in his presence. We know you will find strength...

Jeannine,

We will miss Dennis terribly. He was a good and gentle soul. His work at Guadalupe Home was inspirational. We at Council 4140 will miss him dearly. We offer our most profound condolence to you and the entire family. May he rest in peace.

Rudy Escamilla
