Not sure what to say?

My heart is full of grief at Dennis's passing, but there are also happy memories of our time serving on various committees of the American Bar Association Real Property Trust and Estate Section. Dennis was a joy to work with, and an inspiring colleague. He was modest about his accomplishments, with the possible exception of earning his Master's degree long after he graduated law school -- and who can blame him? Our thoughts are with Diane and the family.

I cannot believe that we lost my good friend Dennis. I am totally in a shock. He was a very good friend our family and I knew him since early 1980s. He was always there and I wish I had spent more time with him. My deep condolences to Diane and please do let us know if there is anything we can do to soften the pain of his loss. I wish I could attend his memorial as I was out of town. Deeply saddened by his loss.

May all who knew Dennis -- and most especially Diane -- be comforted by beautiful memories of an amazing mensch. Sending sincerest condolences.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Dennis's untimely passing. I got to know him and Diane through the American Bar Association, and I counted them both as great friends over many years. My deepest condolences to Diane and the entire family on your loss. So many people will miss him!

Heartfelt condolences to all on Dennis' passing.

Dennis and I met as summer associates at the same law firm in Atlanta in 1972. I have very fond memories of our time together. Especially the night Dennis took me to a club to see a then unknown comic Steve Martin. Sincere condolences to his family.
