The years have passed, but the memories have not dimmed. Dennis still remains an important person in my heart. I have followed his last request of me which keeps him in my heart forever.

Dearest Janet and Andrew,
It is with my greatest sympathy that I heard of the passing of my beloved friend. I obviously did not not have a close personal relationship with Dennis: however, every time I came in contact with any of your family I could feel the love of animals and friends which he held dearest and instilled in all around him. Dear Janet and Andrew Dennis will surely be missed by all. He loved his family and his Town. He was truly dedicated to both. Both Patti & I thank Dennis for giving our Son Barry his shot at the Police Academy and a full time Hadley Police Officer's Position.

Very sorry of the passing of Dennis. He taught me about Police work in Hadley in 1977. I always enjoyed working with him. He was a good friend for a lot of years. Dennis was very considerate and appreciative of the Town of Hadley. He saw the Town grow and he grew with it. As a Chief he always had an open ear. My thoughts go out to Janet and their son. Very sorry for the loss of Mr.Hukowicz.I will remember him with great respect and gratitude.You see,there were a couple times on Sat. nights when he went above and beyond being fair,way back.I will always remember him for that.Thoughts and prayers with the family.

What a sad loss to his family and all of us in the community. Such a fine man, gone much too soon.
