Colonial Funeral Homes - Brick Obituary

Kearny Little League Legend Dennis Hulse passed May 13, 2023 peacefully in his sleep at 75 years old (DOB- December 1, 1947). Dreams of grand slams and championship games were interrupted by his parents Mary Hulse (nee Melody- 1990) and Henry Hulse (1997), brothers Richie Hulse (1998) and Thomas Hulse (2009), friends Robert Rutherford (Rutts 2022) and Richie Grazul (2016) calling him home. Put me in coach, I’m ready to play today.

Dennis will fondly and forever be remembered by loving and caring wife Kathleen Hulse (nee Scheuerman) of 52 years, brothers Gary and Hank, sons Shane and wife Jodi, Mickey and wife Lisa, Dennis, and daughters Tammy and Christa along with 10 Grandchildren; Britny, Rhiannon, Brynn, DJ, Colton, Gunnar, Piper, Bailey, Chase, and Kendall along with many nieces and nephews.

Dennis’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, May 18, 2023 by many for his dedication to his family, friends, and sports players, to the US Postal Service for 25 years, Kearny sports, St. Mary athletics, the Yankees, Thumann’s hot dogs, Miller Lites, and to being his grandchildren’s number 1 fan!
