Not sure what to say?

It is often said that, when we leave this world, all we have to take with us is our memories. Reflecting back on many years of knowing Dennis, I have recounted some of the memories I will take with me for having known him...

Good friends watching happy small black dogs playing "tug of war" with an old sock

Sharing countless "happy hours" and good booze on the rocks

Thick rare steaks lovingly prepared on a Weber Kettle barbeque

Overnight boat trips...

I knew Dennis from Good Sam. He was always someone I could call on for help. My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.

Words can never express the sorrow Shannon and I feel at Dennis' passing. I have known Dennis for 25 years and during that time he became the best friend I have ever had. I am so grateful that I was able to get to Seattle from Georgia at the end of September and spend several quality hours with Dennis and Marla. Marla, I made a promise to Dennis which I have confided in you and I will spend the rest of my life keeping that promise. Shannon and I have been deeply affected by Dennis' courage...

Our thoughts and prayers go with you during this most difficult time. May your memories of Dennis bring you comfort and peace.

Dennis will be greatly missed. I grew up with Dennis and Marla since my parents were their good friends. I shall treasure many memories such as singing songs, Dennis playing the organ and going out on the boat. Good times.

Take comfort in knowing he was a kind man and that his life touched so many.

Our deepest condolences,
Melanie and family
