BRIDGEPORT: Dennis R. Kilburn, 60, entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2017, at Bridgeport Hospital, following a long and hard battle with numerous ailments. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Schilling Kilburn.
Dennis was born in Bridgeport on Nov. 20, 1956, son of the late William and Clara Tamburrino Kilburn. Following his graduation from Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield, he served in the U.S. Navy. Dennis was employed as a licensed plumber and electrician for Liberty Auto and Electric in Bridgeport. Dennis was always available to help someone in need and enjoyed working on his computer, restoring older cars, photography and aquariums.
In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by a loving son, Eric Kilburn of Bridgeport, brothers, Paul Kilburn of Redding and Mark Kilburn of Bridgeport, a sister, Pamela Hill of Fairfield, in-laws, Donald and Betty Schilling of Bridgeport, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday January 16, 2017, from 4-7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Tuesday, his funeral service will take place at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Deacon Richard Renker officiating.
