Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Homes & Crematory - Hammond Obituary

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful ones. Psalm 116:15 Dennis was a sinner turned saint. His eyes and heart were opened, and he grew to love Jesus as his savior. It was evident by his generous, serving, faithful life. His #1 goal in life was to share the love of...

Not sure what to say?

To all of Mr. Dennis' family,
Bill and I were saddened to hear of Mr. Dennis' sudden death, but rejoice with you that we will get to see him again one day. Our thoughts and prayers have certainly been and will continue to be with all you. Mr. Dennis was a special one of a kind person to us always welcoming and encouraging us each time we stopped in. May God continue to bless and comfort each of you in the days ahead.

We love you, Mr. Dennis, and the entire Lagarde family. We are so blessed to have known you and to have shared in this earthly pilgrimage with you on the way to heaven. You were certainly a bright spot at church, and your loss will be deeply felt by many.

Mr.Dennis changed my life and ultimately the lives of my children. He graciously shared his vast knowledge and was always willing to listen without judgment or pretense. He just wanted to help people. It was evident that he loved the Lord, his wife, and his family very much. I will miss him. But, this I know...he is rejoicing with his Lord n Savior, and I can only aspire to live a life so richly blessed as he is now.

Mr Dennis was an awesome man of God. We are very sad to find this out our prayers are with you at this difficult time in life

My prayers are with you, his lovely family. He is always remembered as an enthusiatic and helpful member of our community. I will sadly miss him.

We are so sorry for your loss. All our love and prayers are with you at this sad time.

I was so shocked and saddened to see that Dennis had passed away. Before moving back to Ohio I was living in Ponchatoula and went into the Health Food Store probable once a week. Dennis was always ready with a smile and wonderful personal service. He was never in a hurry and took time with each and every customer helping with his vast knowledge of natural healing. I know all the family will be saddened by this huge loss. My prayers going out for all of you.

Dear Madeline, So long ago you and Dennis became our family in faith and I have cherished those few years spent together in serving our Lord. The emptiness of pressing on without him is a heavy weight to carry. But knowing that he now abides in Glory is your comfort until you are reunited as our loving Father has promised. May God's mercy and love overshadow you and all of your family until that time comes.

Mrs Madeline and the rest of your beautiful family . Mr Dennis was a wonderful Christian man. He was very kind and sweet . He had a special gift his dear family that he lived so much . He lived to brag on y’all. I will be praying for each one of you.
