Dennis Marcotte

Denny Taught me how to weld irrigation equipment and how to get along with difficult people in this world.
He was a good friend and boss for many years. I wish I had more friends like him.

As a kid I always thought of the Marcotte's as my second parents. I loved spending time there and I fondly remember Dennis's laugh is was contagious. He was always warm and kind and a loving person.

Denny was the friendliest fellow Don ever introduced me to. I always had a welcome feeling when I got the opportunity to spend time around Denny & Carolyn. He was indeed, one of the best of the 'good ol boys'! Don never had anything but kind things to say about all the Marcotte family.

Denny was the quintessential good ole boy. Raised in a small town he lived a life of cars, hunting, fishing, logging, guns, motorcycles, Christian faith, conservative politics and general good-natured hell raising. On the surface not the easiest family to fit in to for a left wing Catholic kid from Northeast Portland who had never cut down a tree, never ridden a tractor, never caught a salmon or held anything more powerful than a BB gun. But when his beautiful daughter Beth cast her spell...

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.
