Not sure what to say?

"The calling he loved the best was as the Bishop in the USU 35th Singles Ward." I loved having Bishop Mathews as my bishop and am grateful for his service to our Singles ward.

I served with Elder Mathews in Brazil 1960-62. He was a remarkable missionary and a great leader in the mission. He baptized more people than any other elder at the time. The Brazilian people loved the power of his testimony.

Katie and Family,
Sorry to hear of Dennis passing. I loved to be around to see Katie grow up. She was a special girl in my book and Johnny was the brother I never had. My prayers are with you as your lives will change. May you all receive the blessings and protection to get through this and know that those sweet times you have had will become more special as time passes.
Love to you all.

Katie and Family: I just this minute learned of his passing. I am so sorry for the rest of us because Dennis was such an inspiration and role model for us. No need to feel sorry for him because we all know where he is and hopefully we will rejoin him eventually. The short time we interacted will always be a fond memory. Love to you and the family, Jessee and Margaret

Matthews Family, I am so sorry for you loss. Dennis was a great man. I have many memories being in your home with Edie and your father was always so kind to me. I pray you will all have peace and comfort at this time.
