Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Dennis during my time at WEC. He was great to talk to and learn from. Hard to recall thinking back but I could swear it was him presenting a play by play of the three mile island accident. From the perspective of an operator there at the time but off-duty, it was a great teaching moment. I am sure he will be missed by many he taught.

I remember spending time with Dennis in the backyard, talking to him about the various flowers and stories he had to tell about them..I also remember sitting on the porch with him and listening to all of his different stories from his life, he always had something engaging to share. Dennis truly was a brave man, and like family to me. It makes me sad to see him go. I hope that he reunites with his family in heaven and stays in the hearts of his family who are still with us. Rest in peace...

I was lucky enough to known Dennis since the early 1980´s. We first met as neighbors on Hartland Road in Tolland and soon after his wife Jackie and I became the best of friends. Dennis loved his gardens and his enthusiasm filled the room when he spoke of the different species and was able in detail to explain all of them to me. I remember his piles of books and I believe he probably knew the content of each one of them from cover to cover. I spent a week with Jackie and Dennis last summer...

Dennis I knew him almost longer than I can remember. At this point I'm not too sure how we even connected. But it must have been through the Navy. Back in those days we were attending the nuclear power simulator in Windsor, Connecticut. In what little free time we had, we were hanging out in his parents seller with his dad, or up at Lake Otis, at his parents camp sailing in summer or ice boating in winter. We even went out to Cape Cod with a little boat we built and played with it....

Jackie and family, I am so very sorry for your loss.

Words can not express how saddened I am to learn of Dennis passing. I knew Dennis for over 50 years. We first worked together in the 70's at Combustion Engineering and have been meeting for dinner with Cherri and Jim every few weeks for years. He is going to be greatly missed.

Jackie and family, sorry for your loss. Dennis and I grew up together in Willimansett. Dennis built a small speed boat with his dad and we ran it up and down the Ct. River....good times. All the gang would be talking in the little school yard and Dennis would up and go for a long walk..... we could not figure why he would choose submarines as his choice....cannot walk to fsr in a sub. Again sorry for your loss. Jim Bejune
