Dennis Neal Moore of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday evening. He was 59.
Born March 3, 1955 at Lafayette, he was the son of Roy J. and Peggy (Sparks) Moore. On November 30, 1974 he married Patricia Ann Peterson. She survives.
He graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1974 and later attended Ivy Tech.
Dennis was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a very loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving family members include his wife, Patricia Moore of Crawfordsville; mother Peggy Moore of Crawfordsville; sons Jason Moore and Jamie (Anna) Moore, both of Crawfordsville; daughter Shannon Moore of Crawfordsville; sister Darlene Krohn of Crawfordsville; brothers Bryant (Alice) Moore of Crawfordsville, Brent Moore of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Mark Moore of Norfolk, Virginia; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and nephew Paul Krohn.
A funeral service for Dennis will be 5:00pm Saturday, July 12 at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville with Pastor Bill Murdock officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until the time of service.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the F.I.S.H. Food Pantry, 212 E. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
I can honestly say that even after 10 years it still doesnt get any easier losing you POP!! I miss you DAD more and more every day! I love you and I am looking forward to the day I get to see you and hear your voice again!! Love you Dad!! Your NO#1 son!!

We were so shocked to here of Dennis's passing!! I am so sorry that I can't be there today. Know that I am with you all in my thoughts and prayers! I have many memories Trish of us all way back when. I believe that Dennis & Denny are hanging out together in heaven now. Love to you all!

Dennis was one of my favorite friends in high school. He was always down to earth, funny and had such a great smile. Although I have not seen him in recent years, I have and always will remember him fondly. I am very sorry for your loss.
