DENNIS NELSON

Jesus, I was in a "I wonder what ever happened to my old friends" mood and Googled Dennis, and discovered he died seven years ago. What a gut-punch.

I met Dennis when I was 17 years old and got a job at King Motor Service in Davenport. He was five years older than me, but we became fast friends, and I looked up to him. Dennis. I never had a chance to catch up with you. The last time I seen you was after I found you in the phone book. You were my best friend and I never had a chance to tell you. I am sorry it took so long to leave a note but I just came across his passing today.

I was so saddened to learn of Dennis' passing. I served with him on the Property & Grounds Committee at SCAL; He was so genuinely kind and friendly and contributed so much. Dennis will be greatly missed in our community. My wife and I extennd our sympathy to the Nelson family.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about your loss. May the Love of those around you help your family through the days ahead.

I will miss seeing Dennis walking Dino around the neighborhood. I feel very sorry for your loss. Be assured the neighborhood won't be the same without Dennis.
