Not sure what to say?

Dear Cheryl,

A google search for "CRS + Dennis O'Brien" today had me looking for Dennis--after 40 years. I'm so sorry I missed him. Nothing, of course, to compare with the way you miss him.

Sandy and I send our affection and sympathy to you and your family. We remember him as a deeply principled, courageous and self-sacrificing fellow, with a wit, sense of humor and optimism that clearly endured--judging from what others said of him life and his work.

We have lost a wonderful deacon at St. Anthony's Church and a great neighbor in Twin Rivers. We pray for Cheryl and the kids. Dennis, a life well lived. Thank you.

After finding our way to the main track he spotted a coconut tree. We were thirsty. He...

Deacon Dennis was an inspiration to the parishioners at St. Anthony of Padua. His kind smile brought a wonderful warmth to every mass that he assisted and his beautiful voice when he read the Gospel was something that will be greatly missed by many. I am sure he will continue to assist at masses in heaven as he was just beginning his ministry. He was such a wonderfully devoted Deacon helping everyone that God needed him up in heaven a little sooner that we all would have liked.

Cheryl, Tara, Dan, and Dom-

You were all a godsend. I would most likely just have given up in frustration and flown home the first week had you not been there for me. The canoe trip he led was an unexpected pleasure made all the better by his energy and enthusiasm. Watching him interact with you all...

Dennis contributed enormously to the betterment of those in developing nations. His service is an inspiration. our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
