Dennis Pongracz Sr.

I couldn't believe it when I heard that Dennis had suddenly passed away. I was just looking at the photo of him with his grandchild on fb. I knew Dennis from Buchtel High School. He was always such a kind and pleasant person, and he had such a great smile. Although he was in my fb friends list,the last time I really saw and chatted with Dennis was years ago in The Chuckery at Akron U. I'm sure that Dennis is smiling on us all. RIP.

My condolences to the family of Dennis. I attended Buchtel Class of '75 with him as well as Akron University. The last time I saw him was when he asked for a ride home one day from Akron U. There was nothing phony about him. He always felt like a brother to me. We connected years later through Facebook and just recently there was a picture of him proudly holding his newborn grand-daughter and I noticed how happy he looked. Peace

I met Dennis at Akron U and I have many good memories of those times. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you for strength. Hold in your heart of all your wonderful memories of him as I will do the same.

My deepest condolences to you all in this difficult time for you all. Dennis was a joy to be around especially when Uncle Charlie was still with us.

When I think of you, I smile and think of all the funny stuff we went through together in high school when we were younger. Guess it was your smile that I remember first. Thanks for making me smile after all these years Dennis. I know you are smiling down on us all. Until we meet again....
