I will always remember Mr. Ryan as a kind and helpful teacher with a caring heart and a great sense of humor. He was always willing to go the extra mile to help wherever he saw a need. He will be greatly missed by his family for sure, but also by a grateful community. Rest In Peace Cap'n Denny.

Mr. Ryan was a GREAT teacher. I had him for math in 7th grade. I kept in touch with him thru High school and knew him as a Drivers Ed teacher and while he was a Police Officer and Mayor. He was a great man and will be missed. My condolences to his family.
