So sorry for your loss. "Denny" was one of the early influences on my professional life in the late '90s. I always enjoyed our chats, especially his sly humor. My thoughts and prayers are with the Scanlon family.

Janet, family and friends,
I filled in for Dr. Scanlon at Penn State in 2000 when Dennis was on sabbatical. My family and I enjoyed that opportunity. In my short 5 month stay I heard many in Ag Education say how much Dr. Scanlon affected their lives. I remember his wit and ability to laugh. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
