Dear Barbara,

I heard about Dennis' passing after the funeral or I would have been there. Dennis was so good to me all the years we worked together. He was a wonderful person, friend and boss. He would often walk at night and stop in to see my husband and I at our house. We always looked forward to his visits as he made us laugh and we always had a good time.

My sincere sympathies and prayers go out to Dennis' family. I knew Dennis during the 1950s around Kearny. Although we didn't have a lot of personal contact, we had many mutual friends - and Dennis was everyone's friend. A sweetheart of a guy, always pleasant, a smile each time you saw him. All of us will have only good memories of him. Dennis made it that way.
