My prayers to Laura and the kids. Since grade school you were the life of the party and practical joker. The whole gang thought it would be cool if we elected Sugar Bear class preident. He won in a landslide. There will always be one sugar bear. Everyone had a nick name. Mine was J.J. Messhia, thanks old friend.

There are just so many memories of Den. I remember when we used to put on a Chrismas show for all the folks on Christmas Eve, and we were going to sing Silent Night. Den was right in the middle and started the song. I don't know why that memory has always stuck with me. I never knew him to hold a grudge against anyone and ALWAYS accepted everyone as they were, which is a very rare quality. You went much, much too soon and will be sadly missed by everyone. As everone already stated, there are so many memories of Den. One of my memories is when I had a pet deer. Den would always hang his hunting cloths in his pen. Of course the deer would get his cloths down on the ground and defecate and urinate on them. He would wear them out hunting anyway (saved him from buying the bottled stuff). He always seemed to get a deer, but no one else could stand to be around him.
So wise and practical with advise, he always seemed to make the worse situation...

To Terry, Tod, family and friends - We cannot express enough the sorrow and saddness of your loss. We have lost a very kind and dear friend and have been shocked by Denny's passing. I worked with him at Rock-Tenn for 18years and 3years at Graphic, - we hunted together - camped and canoed with him - played softball and coached him for years much longer than we should have been playing - but I know he enjoyed it just as much as we enjoyed his friendship...He will be dearly missed!
