Not sure what to say?

I had the opportunity to work closely with Dennis the past year as his Account Manager at Scantron. You couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. Dennis was always upbeat and had an inspiring story to tell me every morning that just made my day. I will miss hearing his success stories and most of all I will miss Dennis.

To Dennis's family,
I worked with Dennis on the Maryland Transition Initiative. What a great contributor to the field! And what a fine man! I am proud, and blessed, to have known him and to have worked with him. And what fun it was to share his passion for basketball and jazz! May your best memories of him sustain you during this time.

To Dennis's family: I cherish my memories of time spent with Dennis when we worked together as special education resource teachers for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. He was a very special man --kind, caring, smart, energetic -- and made incredible tiramisu for our staff meeting!

To Dennis' family,

I was a colleague of Dennis' in Anne Arundel County. He was a true renaissance man; teacher, chef, jazz aficionado, proud father... He always shared an upbeat attitude toward life. May he rest now and may you all find peace knowing that Dennis lived his life to the fullest.

Dear Denise,
I had the great opportunity to work with Dennis at the Board of Education in Anne Arundel County Public Schools when he was a Special Education Resource Specialist. He was a good friend and an outstanding special educator. As our "original" Hospitality Chair, he treated us with his delicious cuisine at many of our events. As a colleague, he was a model communicator with parents, teachers and students. He showed us how to be pleasant, patient, and persistent when supporting...

To the Snyder Family: We want to send our condolences to your family. We are a group of special education friends who worked with Dennis in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. We were fellow resource teachers. We just found out today, Wednesday, about Dennis's passing and are very saddened to hear about your loss and world's loss of a wonderful, kind, fun, warmhearted gentle man (not to be forgotten, a great cook). Again our heartfelt thoughts are with you all.

Dear "Spice" Family (Momma Saffron, Ginger, and Dill),

Sage (a.k.a. Dennis) will always be rememered in my heart as the "King of the Meadow" at Camp Small Valley. He towered over all of the Girl Scouts in body and volume. His laughter reverberated off the mountains as he directed and encouraged all to engage in various outdoor activities.

Those happy memories continue to echo through the years and their lovely images are the ones I'll forever hold dear to me. Funny how a few...

Dear Denise,

Your husband came to Jack Jackter Intermediate School where I teach in Colchester, Connecticut just a few weeks ago to personally provide training for us and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to meet him. I was thrilled with the way he knew exactly how to help all of us learn something new and he made me smile and laugh with his pizzazz. Over lunch, he spoke of you and your upcoming anniversary with passion that made his love of your life together obvious. I would...

To Dennis' Family and Friends,
While reading the obituaries, I noticed Caruso's Restaurant mentioned. I'll never forget the Northern Italian Cuisine and the love of Fettucine Carbonara W/ Spinach pasta, after all these years I can remember the taste and texture of that dish. When my wife and I were married in Aug.1984 we went to Elkton MD to be married but had to drive back to Harrisburg for dinner at Caruso's. I would like to extend my condolences to the family and to also Thank Dennis...
