Not sure what to say?

Our condolences go out to the Sullivan family. Fond memories of our last time together, sharing Thanksgiving and a great meal in the city. Denny and I go back to growing up in the avenues at rival grammar schools Holy Name and St. Gabriel´s then, together at Riordan HS. He was always so gregarious and hilariously funny. Some 45 years later, that never changed! Rest well my friend and peace and love to your family.

Dennis was a great bear of a man. Full of power, joy, energy and humor. I knew him best at Scott Valley for morning Swims in the aughts. A strong swimmer and if I could do three laps before he completed four I was having a good day. Seeing him around Mill Valley in recent years he was always buoyant and positive with a gleam in his eye, a proud update about Luca and words of love for Annette. He was unforgettable and will not be soon forgotten.

I will always remember Dennis´s great smile. I am so sorry for your loss.

Oh Annette, I was so sorry to hear that Dennis had passed. My sincere condolences to you and Luca! He was an amazing man and father and I have fond memories of him. Sending Love and hugs Lynnie

We pass along our deepest sympathies for your loss. Find strength in each other and we pass our strength along to you and the extended family. Warmly, Liz, Tom and Vincent Cullinan

We met him in Italy 25 years ago and he was the the American firefighter we always imagined: big and powerful and we want to remember him forever in that way

He was my cousin and my friend. Although when he moved to Mill Valley, we were somewhat out of touch. I have so many fond memories of Denny, we were the same age and many of my friends had the "hot's for him. When he moved to Montara I actually saw him quite a bit. We always had fun together, partying at thanksgiving, tennis, partying, watching 49er games at bar, and of course partying. He was one of the "very good guys" I will miss him! Love, Lisa Fitzpatrick

Condolences to the Sullivan family from the John & Jeanne Parent family, truck 2, and more(?) Look for Johnny & Jeanne and enjoy catching up!

Worked with Dennis at Rescue 2 in the early 90s, lots of laughs and good fun. Big time wrestling on the terrazzo at Station 2. I will miss you Buffy. God keep you safe until we the next we meet.
