I worked with Dennis on several Hudson River issues over the years, and he was gracious, smart, funny, helpful, and kind. A generous and caring person. I am sorry he is no longer with us, but as someone said, we trust he is saving another river somewhere.

He was a wonderful gentleman. An ally when he needed to be but also strong in his opinions and guidance when he knew that there was a better way to achieve mutually beneficial results.
