Not sure what to say?

Dennis enriched my life in the short time I was privileged to have known him with his unique sense of humor and outlook on life. I will never be able to walk the Alameda Creek Trail or eat a “Gummy Bear” without thinking of him. I believe that he is on his last great adventure.

Dennis was the courage I needed to finish my marathons. He did not give up no matter how bad it got. He entertained us and was there showing us how to live life to the fullest each day.

Although I did not know Dennis extremely well I was bless with knowing him a short while. In that time, I was encouraged by him to do my best. He will be missed.

We read Dennis's obituary and see all the accomplishments he has achieved in his life. Goals and a family like none other. What one doesn't see is his essence. His ever present laughter, quick wit, the passion for life, and a million other things that he gave freely to all around him. He was a rare person and we were blessed to know him.

I think I first met Dennis in the spring of 2001, it may have been Dennis's first season around our team.My 16 year old daughter , Sara, was the youngest walk team member, and we were training together. Dennis focused extra loving kindness toward Sara. It was always a great feeling to see Dennis at our Saturday walks. Sara was especially saddened by the news of Dennis a while back. She called me from college in San Diego yesterday and told me she signed with TNT for the San Diego event.Thank...

I love the saying "People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime, either way you're blessed." Dennis, when I met you and your wonderful wife Kathy on West Cliff little did I know I was meeting you and Kathy for a reason, for several wonderful seasons and that you would be in my heart for a lifetime. Thank you for opening my heart even more. You will be missed.

Dennis meant so much to us. He created laughter when there was none at the day hospital.Between Dennis and Jerry the room would get so loud at times with out bursts of laughter. Yet, our room was never told to keep it down. The positive energy exuded and the nurses would come in to join us.

Dennis also had such compassion for the patients. His love for his family was so evident when he would speak of them. But his heart would go out with all its might when he spoke of his...

I, like many others with TNT, am very grateful and honored to have known Dennis, even for just a short time. He will be the wind behind our backs, gently guiding us to the Finish Line :)

WHILE TRAINING W/SANTA CRUZ TNT WALK TEAM, DENNIS AND WIFE KATHY, SHARED THEIR ENERGY AT MANY OF OUR TRAINING DAYS. DENNIS ALWAYS HAD SUCH AN UPLIFTING SPIRIT THAT JUST GLOWED. MAY GODS LOVE SURROUND THE FAMILY IN THE DAYS AHEAD, AND HOLD ONTO ALL THE GREAT MEMORIES.
