Dennis A. Thatcher

It had been many years, but I never forgot some of the things we did together. He was an outstanding young man and it seems like that never changed.

Theresa sorry to hear of Dennis passing . After loosing two loved ones I don't know how you do it . Stay strong my friend we have you in our hearts . Steve and Carol Gingras.

Rest easy Chief

After I moved to town, Dennis made me feel welcome in the fire department and encouraged me to become an EMT. He was always kind and supportive and a good friend. Carolyn and I treasure the cabinet doors he made for our kitchen, and we think of him every day when we use them. I will miss him.

My family moved to Plainfield in 1961. Dennis was my first friend in life. I remember so much of the fun we had on the farm, from haying or drinking the milk out of the storage tank, drinking the sap from the buckets on the maple trees to landing in a deep pile of cow manure chasing Denise. Well that wasn't the most pleasurable memory! Anyhow, I'll always remember Dennis, so saddened to hear this news. A hard worker from such a young age. Good bye old friend, never to be forgotten.
