I'm so sad to hear of Dennis' passing. We were close friends at Springfield and my roommate, Karin VanNewkirk, and i whiled away MANY hours in the Dugout with Denny, Paul Wagner, Jimmy Froehlich and Jack VanLeuwen. One memory out of SO many: on March 31st one year they dared us to jump in the lake, still ringed with ice! Of course we did! I also saw Denny in my home state NJ. I'm so glad Denny had a long happy life. I got to speak to him not long ago with Bob Walligunda. Would love to...

Dear friend at Springfield College,´67 and `68, roommates and fellow follower of Coach Charles Silvia. Spent much time with brother Pierce, and stayed in touch with Dennis while he was in Colorado and Ohio. Was unaware of his passing, and will always remember our time together, whether it be running or our fabulous dinners with Coach Silvia.
