Dennis Evan Wile

My father served in the 1270th during WWII, my deepest condolences to Dennis' family.

I worked with Dennis at EPA in Atlanta, to this day I still tell coworkers about Dennis and "The boy on the Horse". His childhood and his WWII experiences made him one most interesting persons I have met.

Dennis Wile served in the 1270th Engineer Combat Battalion during WWII with my father, Joe Turner. I met Mr. Den, as he liked to be called, when I started researching my father's military service and building a web site to honor the 1270th. Dennis had been the official photographer of the 1270th.
