Dear Wondrak Families,

Sorry to hear of your loss. Coach Wondrak was a positive and a very influential leader to me, not only as a player, but as a person. It was often his name was part of our conversations with my fellow team and class mates from SHS. Being my homeroom teacher for 4 years, his influence not only shaped me and my fellow classmates, but also prepared us for life and life's challenges. May he rest in peace. My first memory of Mr. Wondrak was when he took me for ice cream with the kids when I was then new neighbor in town. Dairy Queen with crunch coat- best ever! He then became my driving instructor - He was so kind- you all were. Hugs and prayers to you all. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

A finer person I'll never meet. I was deeply sadden to hear of his passing. Living out of state for many years I have not kept up with events going on in the Solon area but I do think of teachers who have impacted my life while growing up there.Denny was one those that came to mind every year.I am going to make it a priority to tell my children and grandchildren that what makes a great teacher and coach is someone that can relate to them knowledge with decency and human kindness.
