We met Chips in Perth in 1970 through a mutual friend Chris.Although a bit of a loner,he was great company socially.Older than us,he always showed an acute awareness of his surroundings and always maintained an even temperament and open demeanour.A great asset in those youthful times!We met again back in Auckland in 1975,and as fate would have it, our paths didn't cross again.Thank you Chips for all the goodness you bestowed...may you rest in peace.
