Not sure what to say?

Dear Zilinski Family,

I recently found the class picture w hen we "had" our First Thanksgiving in our Grade 3 classroom.

I remember Dennis being so willing to cook, turkey, stuffed mushrooms, in our classroom at Middletown Village School...

Dennis was a reflection of his parents, always giving and trying to help.

Even as an 8 year old he was always helping.

Our shared memories are nevwer to be forgotten, I remain,

Susann Pfeffer, his Third grade Teacher..

Your legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew you and shared in your struggle to protect our country and the ultimate sacrifice you gave so that we can be grateful for what we have. Your family, friends, loved ones and fellow soldiers will stay in my thoughts and prayers.
A Proud Military Mom.

From the frontlines of the Homefront, we are with you in spirit.

Thank you Dennis for defending my Freedoms. It is because of great American patriots such as you that Americans continue to board airplanes with confidence and the people of this city can live without fear.

You will always be remembered with love and great pride by the grateful nation you served to protect.

Rest in peace.

My son Ryan Charterina was the first reciepient of the Dennis Zilinski scholarship award at CBA. He also is a swimmer like Dennis was. It is truly an honor to be chosen for this prestigious award knowing what an inspiration Dennis was to everyone. We all thank Dennis' family and friends. You will forever be in our hearts and prayers. Thank you for the freedom we have today! Your courage is truly respected.
