Not sure what to say?

Dennis was very kind to me, during a very difficult period in my life. We went skiing, played racquetball, and I rode the back of his motorcycle. His belief in me eventually jump-started acquiring help I would need to recover from what l did not have the strength or the will to recognize. You are in my heart. Rest in loving peace under Jesus' wings of comfort. Thank you, earth angel.

As a teenager, I lived across the street from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church's rectory in Battle Ground while he was the pastor. Dennis was always so wonderful to talk with, so kind, and a true love for helping people. I loved his vintage 1940's era car and his motorcycle. Seeing a pastor riding a Harley was not very common. Of course, neither was he. Rest in peace.

I first met Dennis when he was our pastor at Lourdes, then we became friends & he came to work in CPS with me. I have always loved his sense of humor and that caring and giving side that he always shared with others. I loved the sight of him on his motorcycle and I know how much he loved to ride... I am happy that he made it to Sturges and had that other side of his life! he was always a good friend but I know these last years when he was ill very very hard on him, so I am glad that he is...

ur 1st baby daughter was baptized by you. May God continue to be with you and your family and friends.

Dennis has been a wonderful, caring friend for over 55 years whether in church, on the ski slopes, climbing on Mount Rainier or just sitting and visiting. What a sincere, wise and dedicated counsellor in his DSHS work. Eternal happiness with our loving Lord.

Thank you Denny for sharing your story with me

My husband and I were surprised to receive an invitation to attend Denny's ordination which we were able to do. Later we attended Mass at Sacred Heart, Battle Ground where Denny was pastor.

I worked with Denny at DSHS. He was fun to be around, but also very thoughtful. We had some great conversations! Pictures of his retirement party (cake had motorcycle on it).
