You were a fantastic person and you were very loved!!!

Wow I'm so happy to write here and say something I was so impressed by heaven help me when I was 18 living in Muskegon Michigan, all those years I never knew he was a Detroit master bass player, but I should have known. His bass playing was so dynamic and way ahead of itself. I miss you dude and thought about you today and ended up here. You will never be forgotten. Much love to friends and family. He will be cherished for may generations to come and missed.

Deon was an angel on earth And
I'm sure he is an angel in heaven .
Never had a negative thing to say about anybody and always lived a life of positive, positive enjoyment and spiritual awareness and practice
Deon played and produced and co-wrote songs on my album. Which I did not release yet due to COVID and his passing.
He co-wrote a song with me. Me called sometimes angels cry. And I am waiting for the right moment. And the right finances.."I'm not looking for donations"...

I wanted to meet this legend so much.It hurts so bad when I heard about his death. He is the greatest bass player EVER. REST IN PEACE LEGEND

As a child, my big sister was the biggest fan of WHAM! in all the world... and I fell in love with them, too, particularly when Deon Estus was their bassist. He was fabulous, and I remember writing his name all over my notebooks at school! DE was everywhere in my doodlings. His bass sounds and his song Heaven Help Me featuring George Michael's voice brought so much joy to my youth! God rest his soul, and may God comfort his loved ones whom he left behind. Deon Estus was a delightful musician....

We only knew each other for a couple years but definitely had a great friendship and were thinking about working together. I hate that he is not with us anymore. I miss seeing him out and about doing his thing. We had some good times and I will keep that with me forever.

Wonderful Artist. Incredibly Talented. And just plain great Human being. Blessings to all who were close to him.
