I had the pleasure of working with Dick for many years. Will never forget the lively discussions we had when work was hectic. Great sense of humor and just a good person.

Deran,
I just now heard about Dick. Dick and I worked together for most of my 37 years at GE. He was my mentor and friend. We smoked the peace pipe together most every day. Dick never ran out of tobacco. He was one of the people I most missed when I retired. God Bless.

I first worked with Dick after my graduation from Tufts. This was in the Thompson Lab when he was a chemist along with Dick Burke and then years later in Bldg. 40 when he was in charge of all the vacuum furnaces. Dick always was jovial and had a smile on his face for everyone. He seemed to enjoy his cigars. Dick was a fixture and will be sorely missed. I will remember him in my prayers.

Deran,
Your Dad was more then a friend, he was a man of honor, humor and loyalty whom I respected. People like him are not commonplace. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
