I didn't know your son at all but I still want to say my thoughts and prayers are with you all. We lost our daughter 5 years ago. He'll throw little hints out all the time, letting you know that he's still with you. He will always be a part of you. You'll always hold him dear to your heart. Cry when you need to cry, smile when have memories of him. Please take care!

There are no words that I can think of to take away the pain you may be feeling with the loss of Derek. All I can hope say is that my family is grieving with you during your time of need. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Allow the LORD GOD into your life to help you with the hard questions you may have.
