To SSG Derek Farley's Family & Friends: I was there in Farah, Afghanistan with your son and friend. I had the opportunity to briefly meet this fine young man, and I was there with him when he went to God. He was surrounded by his Army brothers who loved and cared deeply for him; he was not alone. With deep gratitude and respect, I pray you are all well.

To the family of Staff Sgt. Derek Farley:
Derek gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."

REST IN PEACE STAFF SGT. FARLEY, TO YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS MAY THE MEMORIES OF THIS WONDERFUL SOLDIERS LIFE FILL YOUR HEARTS WITH BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES
GOD BLESS YOU DEREK

To the family: May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
