Not sure what to say?

It has been five years since Derek's passing....hard to believe ... Derek's memory and good deeds remain strong...all the best to Derek's family....

Thanks for the reminder....it is always good to think of Derek and his family...though I have never met Donna...Derek's wife...I saw her recently on a national news telecast and knew immediately who she was...all the best to Donna and to Derek's memory....

Remembering Derek...Peace, Love, and Harmony in 2024...

A fair and Impartial Lawyer.
He knew how to defend everyone regardless of race or Color
May his soul rest un peace.

My last night in Austin...January 1970...I spent with Derek at dinner. Thirty plus years went by before I reconnected with him. I was reading an article in Sports Illustrated about a law suit taking place at the University of Texas and Derek Howard was the attorney representing the defendant. Sending love and hugs to you Donna and your family. I hope all the good memories of Derek will bring you comfort. We all miss him, he was a great friend and I will miss his laughter and stories.

Tom recently moved to Chattanooga from Houston, Texas, and I had moved to Chattanooga from Corpus Christi, Texas several years earlier...just two Texas boys becoming friends in Tennessee. I knew Derek because I knew his younger sister Sherry. Derek was full of smiles and...

I'll always remember the very terrific Derek Howard. We were in the midst of Covid, there was no vaccine, we were socially distanced and not going anywhere, but the men's group at the First Unitarian Church had a memorial service anyway. It was an unusual service, as befit the times and our friend, Stories of Derek's, and about Derek. That meant plenty of material. Jon, and Mark, and Michael from the UBarU board and our church were there, and the other Jon from Live Oak, and I was...
