Condolences from the Reads on Meadowvale Ave. We grew up in the best neighbourhood: lots of kids, loving moms, and dads who laughed and played with their families. Mr. Kinnear was such a dad. We know how much you will miss him, and how great memories will help you through those times.

Sad News indeed. I had the opportunity to meet and talk to Derek when he came out to watch our BMSP games. He will be missed and condolences to Geoff, Nancy and all the family.

Mr. Kinnear was always very friendly and respectful to me. I remember this old baseball glove that he had from Babe Ruth's day. No padding but he stayed in there and caught for Jim. Funny the things you remember. Mr Kinnear loved the old soft drinks from Pop Shoppe. Also learned from him to keep the screw-on tops from soft drink bottles and not throw them out. Keeps the bugs away. Rest in peace big guy.
