Derek it's been a year already & I still feel like I expect to see you at the front door. You are always heavily on my mind. Your children are so beautiful & it's amazing to see you in each of them in their own unique way. Iris started kidergarten this year & will be 6 already in a couple of months. She is her mother alright & then you definitely in her all of the sudden silly laughing & comedian displays. Remember when I didn't think some of those weren't so funny at first & we'd debate...

Seemed like a nice guy. I used to bid on his baseball card auctions. I was shocked by the news of his death at such a young age.

Thanks for making so many of my best memories with me this year! You’ll truly be missed!

Im going to miss your persistent weekly check-ins with me. Trying to get me to leave the house for anything. Weather it was just riding with ya or going to the casino. Man D I don't know what im gonna do now. No one will ecer take that place. So many memories we've made. But so many we missed out on. I will see you again. Till than be at peace. Missing you already!
