Derek MITCHELL

His kindness and brilliance were a constant light in our math class at Seven Springs Middle School. My heart is crying, as I send my sincerest condolences and prayers to his family and friends.

We are unable to attend the memorial service today. We are so heartbroken to hear of Derek’s passing. We can not imagine the pain that your family is going through at this time but know that all walk in Jesus. Your faith as a family has always been strong and moments like this test that strength. God Bless Dewey, Becky and Carly, may Gods love and strength lift you at the time. Know we will continue to pray for your family. Love eternally.

I will always remember Derek as the smart, athletic and tall friend to Michael. We were blessed to know him and will cherish those memories.
