Not sure what to say?

Derek and I were always very close having shared many experiences from WW11 and staying together when evacuated to Wales at only 7 and 8 years old, where, without our parents, we took care of each other . A year later our Mum visited and decided to bring us back home to London where we had many adventures together during the blitz.

Uncle Derek, you will be missed dearly. I always enjoyed our conversations and fondly remember you helping me with my physics homework when I was in high school. You meant a lot to your family and your innovation will live on for lifetimes. Mark, Kay, Pauline, and your families, my deepest sympathy and condolences. I'm sorry that Chris and I won't be able to attend the memorial service but we'll be thinking of you all.

Derek Tidman was my dental patient for many years. He was always delightful, with an irrepressibly curious mind. A true gentleman. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.

Deepest sympathies to the entire Family.

Pauline Kay Mark and families, I am so sorry for your loss. I know you are devistated. I am sure our dads are joking and laughing in heaven while watching over us. I am sending big hugs your way. Love you all!!!

Such fond memories over the many years, inspired by my brother Derek's original thinking, imagination, and irrepressible energy. A very dear brother, whose empathy, insight, and affinity for understanding ran both deep and wide, laying down markers through example. I shall always treasure our shared, enduring experiences.

Sending love and prayers to the family! You will be missed Uncle Derek. You were instrumental in helping us emigrate to the US and I'll forever be grateful. Love and miss you! ❤❤❤❤
