Condolences to all of Derek´s family. He was always fun to chat to and I appreciated his support with my first role at Wrightsons. Mike & Ang Hare

Thank you to Derek's family for supporting him while he, with his mates Neil and Ron, for many years, led the Beef farming fundraiser for Arohanui Hospice. Rest in peace Derek.

Alby and Janice send our condolences to the Tuck family. Bought stock from him in Taumaranui and worked with Derek when in Taihape then Feilding. A well respected person with many contacts in the farming sector. He will be remembered for the many hours he spent supporting the Manawatu hospice. Regards Albie and Janice Marshall.

To Derek´s family Sorry to read of the passing of Derek I spent many years working under Derek at Wrightsons Feilding I had fond memories of some fishing at Kuratau where I know Derek had many joyful hours I can´t go without mentioning the tremendous job Derek did for the hospice in Palmerston North Kind regards to you all Wayne and Jill Harding

Dearest Jenny I am so sorry to read this sad news. Sending love Sandra Mason (nee Pain)

To Dereks family sorry to read of the passing of Derek. I remeber working with him in the Feilding office of wrightsons back in the late 1980s. Thinking of you all at this time. regards Ashley Miller

My deepest sympathy to Derek's family. I spent 6 1/2 years as his tenant in the little house in Queen Street and enjoyed his and Jenny's friendship during that time, as well as the spoils from his exceptional garden.

My late father Les Gee worked with Derek in Auckland from 1972-1976. This was the beginning of a lifelong and much valued friendship. On behalf of my mother Sylvia, may I offer our deepest sympathy to Jenny and the family. Our thoughts are with you. Alison Gordon (Gee)

Thinking of you all. Sincerely Trudy Shepard (Barnsdale)
