Derek Winebrenner

Our hearts are forever broken. Our love for Derek will forever be. Derek was one of the best humans on this planet. He was the best doc and Lacrosse coach for our son Hunter! Condolences to the Winebrenner family on Derek´s passing. I remember Derek driving by our community pool in HH sending a big wave! May his memory live on for his family.

Derek (or "KY" as he was known by his fraternity brothers) was such a bright light that his `light´ will live on within all of us who had the luck to know him. May his memory be a blessing for his family and friends.

I met Derek many years ago through my nephew, Greg Krugel. They had been friends from childhood. He was such an amazing person and I am deeply saddened by his untimely passing. Dear Sherri and Madison, My heart is breaking for you and your family. I still have photos at an SPPS Mardi Gras fundraiser where Derek photo bombed all of our faculty photos. My family still remembers your generosity in letting us borrow your Hilton Head condo about 8 or 9 years ago. We had great memories of that trip.
