Not sure what to say?

Pat, Dermot has such a determined expression on his face -- what a shame to lose such a fine young man. I am sure you do not get over the loss of child -- you just move on. Hemmingway once said that if your really loved someone, you never get over it if they die. If you do, you really didn't love them. God bless you and your family, know that you are often in my thoughts and prayers. Coach Wertan

Pat & Liz,
I am so sorry about the loss of your son Dermot. I cannoteven imagine what you are going through and no words penned ever got close to describing it. The only comfort in this dark night of the soul is the love and fellowship of family and friends. I know anything I say will sound trite and hollow, but just be there for each other and hold tight.Know that my family and I have you in our thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy, your old coach,
Larry Wertan
